I'm will be starting my summer semester in Seminary in a few weeks. I know there's a lot of Christians on here that are very educated both academically and Biblically.

What was it like navigating Christian college or seminary as an Autstic Christian?

I also got a Masters of Divinity and a Ph.D. in Ministry and several religious degrees but I attended online not in person.

I went to Cornerstone Christian Community bible college (Australia) in 1985, 1986, and back to start on my Associate in Theology in 89. It was live in with about a dozen or so other students.

I didn't find out I was autistic until decades later. I was masking big time. I thought I was one of them.

Now I look back and it's so glaringly obvious. But not knowing what I didn't know, I couldn't mitigate.

Since you know, I'd suggest looking at your study skills. Consider what you want to use it for. Be up front with the faculty.

If you can do those things, I'd suggest going for it. The other students needs to learn to love and deal with all kinds of humans and get past their own stereotypes. It will be valuable for them to know you too. Good luck.
