You k ow something else I think, Ezra? U think your comments about my lack of tech knowledge, etc. proves U couldn't cope with college is rather cruel! :x I am reminded of that person who said that, because I am handicapped, I could not go :( . My lack of tech knowledge has lots to do with THE FACT THAT I AM OLD ENOUGH THAT I WENT TO SCHOOL BEFORE YOU WERE TAUGHT SUCH THINGS! :( My parents didn't know then, either, or anybody else around me...And, as I have meant to detail in this thread, when I tried to go back to school in my 29s and 30s --- ' alone ", incidentally, just as some people here (who are lying their guts out  , but anyway) say they did, and I should do - it blew up in my face  .

What I also said was that if I could not get past the application, which is quite possible, that I won't be able to attend. And likely won't be able to cope if I did, based on the time I tried regular school it blew up in my face. And I don't know any tech. I am too cognitively disabled (ie stupid) to understand tech much beyond the same basics you yourself know in being able to access this forum - but yeah I get it I'm a cruel horrible useless severely autistic cripple who should burn in hell along with all the other cruel idiots and liars here.

...Okay, Ezra, now you're sacastically expanding on what I'M saying. Hoo boy  ...However, the help I was asking in applying was NOT " to get someone to take the test for me ", but...Well, I think I said much, but much was to try to see that the application people handle the processing of my application properly. Which it did not before. Just to see that it went right this time.
However, I am no longer trying to get help like that here :( .

...Ezra, I don't want to cross swords with you (I could use a saltier metaphor than just " swords", but... ). Are you spoiling for a jokey " fight " :? ? I don't see malice in you as I do others. I want to talk about what this line was meant for by me, not answer other people's comments back...Even though I haven't the time for it now :( .

...Okay, now I'm going to start detailing my past attempts to go to uni. They were disasters! :(
I will jump past to set- up for now pasty first, itself a disaster  , attempt to go to cc in 1979-80bto either 1985 or 1986, I believe, when, first rendered HL then, I decided to apply to uni. simply thinking of it providing me with a place to stay. the education aside. I lived in Westchester County, in New York State. I applied to the State University of New York.
I applied to 5 of the 6 SUNY camouses that were liberal arts-y oriented. One was in Westchester County, another one was in another corner of the NYC metropolitan area...Long Island
I left out one. the Buffalo SUNY campus. I did not apply to them, perhaps for a combination of luck be leaving one out, perhaps thinking Buffalo's winters were too cold and. Actually perhaps most important. saving $15, only having to pay 75 dollars for five applications rather than 90 dollars for six. I did this entirely myself, just as people here screech st Mt. " Just as they did '" (yeah, right). I did not tell my parents. I sent in all five. I believe I did the thing of, in whatever form. contacting my HS alma mater and asking them to send my transcripts/whatever to them. I waited. Eventually, the five cashed checks all came in.

:... Actually, Ezra, you're pretty mean and hateful to me. Especially considering that I'm detailing that I TRIED to " do it all myself " - while homeless - as some - Including you, I guess?? Even though you do have help yourself :( . - demand.
Why don't you shut the f**k up  ?

...Anyway, though all five most definitely cashed my checks! - I only received replies from three of them  . Two of them - 40℅ - did not think enough of me to send me rejection notices. How likely is that? That TWO answers get " lost in the mail "? Twice?
The three answers I did receive were rejections, I got called back for some kind of additional look by the Westchester one. presumably for the ' local
boy " angle. but I didn't get in, Why did SUNY do this to me? Why did they hate me so much? Do you think one of the two nonreceivef replies were acceptances? If I had applied to. Buffalo wouldbI have gotten in? WHY, SUNY, WHY?                 :
    ? Sometimes recently I've taken to crying to myself and asking myself that .
Why?.
I guess around here I found out about my HS alma mater not srnding out complete transcripts of my HS years .
There's more years - and tears - to come  .

...You seem to have changed your reply from the initial one, which might be the cause of me losing a previous draft  . You were again announcing how hateful I was, although this time, you weren't mewling " I'm trying to help you! ". Why?
I rather strongly dislike not-true things being repeated over and over. It does annoy me. Were you annoyed because I was refuting your precious " I did EVERYTHING absolutely alone & and so must YOU!! !! !! !! !! ! " scenario   ?
More to come - later  .

Ok, well, heres how I see it. First, AssP is unemployable. The only kind of job he could get at his age with his social history is a minimum wage job, and those are some of the most physically demanding, or at least can be. I don't think a job standing all day and stocking shelves is something he could do physically, and a perspective employer would probably look at him and rightly think, "this guy is just going to stop coming to work because he has no transportation and or will just get sick of working, so why hire him and train him in the first place?" As for a post university job, there is the problem of being nearly 60 with no work experience. Most entry level jobs want someone thirty or under. Yes, it may be illegal to officially discriminate on the basis of age, but rest assured they do it anyway.

Second, even if the first concern were not the case, there is the fact that there is nothing fun or easy about going to college with a full time schedule of classes. And if you want a job post graduation, lab work and or internships or things of that sort on top of that. I wish I could actually send him to a year of "uni" just so he can experience how much fun its not. He is all worn out from doing nothing all day, and he thinks he can hike across a campus to and from classes everyday with heavy books? I don't think so.

As for homeless shelters, its not a right, nor is keeping everything you have bought. If you don't have the space for it, you cant have it, end of story.

However, any RU claims of kind intent got pretty shot down by his posts after that, where he got all Arcje Bunker about " taxpayer expense ", then called for the Mods to gag me - prevent me from expressing myself - on a LIFELONG sorrow  - as well as what I could do regarding it  You don't have to read my posts if you don't like me, you know :( .

I did not ask the mods to gag you, and I don't think they will. I strongly suspect they pity you and have special rules that apply only to you.

What I did do is point out the fact that locked topics are not allowed for rediscussion, and this certainly would qualify.

ASS-P does have work experience. This is why he's on SSDI instead of SSI.

But I believe he last had employment years ago.

I stand by what I posted. I think AssP has zero chance of completing a college degree. That's reality, not hate or meanness. If he can prove me wrong he should just do it, and quit posting these threads about it.

He also went to college for two years, years ago. Wouldn’t credits earned then count for anything in his pursuit of continuing education?
