I'm very good at verbal thinking but tend to be slow at math - in Grade 12 Precalculus I'd spend a good three to four hours a day just doing the homework (Part of the problem was, of course, my mind's tendency to wander off the topic at hand. I had to will very hard in order to surpress that tendency.). I'm very poor at elementary mental arithmetic and at visualizing numbers in general - I have to write everything down.

Aaaaaargh! I utterly detest math. It's evil, I swear. In fact, as I write this I am sitting in an after school math class (because I failed the first one) and banging my head against the desk. Well, not really. But definitely mentally. This is like trying to pick up a book in like arabic when you haven't the slightest idea how to speak arabic (even though it's really pretty and all). *pouts* Hmmm. Getting so frustrated doesn't help though.
