Our classrooms were always messy and disorganised, this being the most intolerable feature for me. It felt awful to look at all the crumpled pieces of paper in the wordsearch or worksheet folders, and the books in the library were always scattered about and handled clumsily. It would nearly make me shudder to see all the broken pencils just crammed into the pencil pot, and I hated all the eraser and pencil shavings everywhere, and the way they got all over my jotters and polo shirts. In Art and D&T, the sawdust, paint, and glue-drenched paper towels everywhere just about drove me nuts...

Classrooms also tended to be very noisy whenever the teacher was absent - and sometimes when the teacher was there as well. When my anxieties and inability to concentrate came along, I'd find it impossible to focus on work, which created more anxiety in turn...

I didn't have so many negative experiences with teachers or other children in the classroom, thankfully. I liked to sit at one of the smallest tables, if possible, and I liked to be at the back because it always seemed more spacious.

My schedule confuses me, how the others get the info on what to do is an enigma to me, I hate computers, my class teacher who prides herself on being mama to all students is putting me down unfairly infront of others, which is, considering it already is small uni in small untolerant town, rather unpleasant. Otherwise I really really love to learn new things and I am so glad that I went back to school. But I will have to interrupt next year.

First off, I take meds for anxiety (paxil / clonazepam)...

I walk in and pretend everyone likes me, I talk to everyone, I'm pretty eccentric, we all laugh, talk, have fun and learn. I'm sure most people view me as a little strange, but that's fine, I think they're all strange (in their own way). Most people I sit near ask me for help if they don't understand something as I've become know as the guy who reads like 5 chapters ahead in every class. I don't have anyone I would call a friend at college, but I get along quite well with most anyone, which is fine with me (as I value my solitude during free time).

High school? I pretty much slept through that or didn't go at all. My 2nd year I missed more than 60 days and had my mother withdraw me before I even turned 16. I do much better now that I know and understand my difficulties. Its been a long road, fun and interesting.

I also get the anxiety and paranoia thing :( i think everyone is laughing about me and laughing at me too. With the laughter thing I pretend to just to fit in because i don't usually get what's so funny :)
