English has always been perfectly easy for me. Maths is rather challenging, though. I've been diagnosed with dyscalculia.

I have never liked English class very much, but I do like reading some of the books. I have always had trouble writing essays and answering essay questions on tests/exams. I am better at mathematics; however, I don't personally have a preference for any subject.

English is actually one of my strongest subjects. I feel comfortable to analyse and evaluate various literature, and I get high levels in assessments. I have always been one for academic subjects, but not so much the kinaesthetic.

The waters of the port were choppy. After I set off, there was a long, massive storm.
Years later, however, the sea calmed. I'm still on tranquil sea, but I'll never reach the Neurotypical Beach.

I did very well in my English composition class, but the next year when I took English literature it felt like I had almost no clue whatsoever. I couldn't analyze well at all.

English was my favourite subject in school as it was my easiest. Testimony if and of itself is the fact that, on the awards day for the last day of school, the creative-writing teacher said (and I quote), "A bit controversial but [my real name] is actually the best writer in the school."

I found it really easy to grasp the metaphors and such. The only things I struggled with were learning off the poems (we had fifty-or-so poems on the course. We had to learn every single one of them off-by-heart which I found extremely difficult as I'm not that good at that type of rote learning) and I also struggled with trying to be patient while the teacher went over the exact same grammar lessons again and again, because the rest of the class couldn't understand the difference between "If someone does that, they will be very happy" and "If someone does that, he or she will be very happy." Seriously, he must have went over that a hundred times and I say it's safe to bet that at least 25% made that mistake in their final exam.

I hated english in highschool. I dropped out of an AP english course because I just couldn't bear writing analytical essays. The teacher always failed me because I would always try to delve into abstract concepts that were supposedly "irrelevant" and lacking "clear and cohesive points"

I was capable of doing English well. The only real problem was sophomore year, but that was only because the teacher hated me.
