I inevitably worry about my papers. I obsess over perfection and then never finish the paper on time, ruining my grade. It makes no sense to do this, but I do it anyway.

To make matters worse, even when I wait until the last minute and then turn in a shoddy and poorly edited job, more often than not my professors will tell me it's a good paper and wonder why it took so long to actually get started on it.

I do things that make no sense. It bothers me sometimes. :\

I remember drawing something in high school to which my teacher said, "There is no way you drew this." Of course she believed me after I told her my neighbor and family friend was an art teacher as well. It does seem when you go WAY above and beyond that you will probably be accused of it. As for your teacher failing you without proof? That is uncalled for and unethical. I would have gone straight to the principal about that with my parents. [Because they seem to fear parents lol] Of course you would have to be very careful about how you approached the administration about the subject.

I understand for I have had people believe I could not do certain things.

I have not been called for plagerism in college, for I am very careful to document everything.

Similar things have happened to me. I'm glad those D's and F's didn't hinder your chances of getting into college.

I've only had about two teachers/professors throughout high school and college who really appreciated my writing and recognized it as original work. One of them even offered me a job as a writing tutor. The rest of the time, I was asked accused of plagiarism or asked half-jokingly "so, where'd you buy the essay from?" Like you, I asserted my innocence and demanded proof of the accusation. They were never able to provide any, so my grades didn't suffer; save for one spiteful teacher who gave me B's on papers he was unable to find defect in.

Best of luck in your writing.
