I taught a zoology lab for 2 years.

My organic and biochemistry prof. was DEFINITELY aspie. Totally brilliant, but totally out there. When his wife was out of town, he'd wear the same mis-matched clothing for the whole week (she picked his outfits for him). He never combed his hair. When he saw one of our "lightbulbs" go on, he'd rub his nipples. He stimmed constantly.

But he was hilarious, and fair, and helpful, and really cared about us (I actually failed the first time around and didn't hold a grudge).

I had a middle school science teacher who I'm 99% sure was an Aspie. Same with a high school science teacher. I have also speculated about one of the math teachers at the high school. At college, the only one who may have been was one of my history profs, although I really didn't see him outside of class much so I can't be sure.

The technician who is in charge of my collage's editing rooms and TV studio is a diagnosed Aspie. I think his job may be his 'special interest', as he has taught me alot of things about my subject that my teachers don't know. :o
