...Perhaps I should detail the, aside from the SUNY and UWGB attempts I've already detailed, third disastrous full-out attempt to go back to college " filling out the application ALL BY MYSELF " in the 29th, and some lesser illustration of my problem - but I don't't feel like feeling further frustrated and banging my head into the wall just now .

What exactly are you asking for? To verify your transcripts exist? To have them sent somewhere? What?

Have you tried (recently) or will you try calling the phone numbers I provided?

...Ezra, again, I thank you. However, what am I supposed to do with the numbers you sent me? Will they get me colors of my HS records and a certification that I graduated? That is what I'd like - as I said, the " normal " way of " get an application together and send it in and your HS will reliably send in your info to where you've applied, yes-siree-bob! " just has not worked in the past for me! This has to be fixed, I have to know that an application will be reasonably responded too, before Zi do anything, considering all the times it has ducked up in the past . People ignore this.
People who are full adult-aged, over 21, claim that they cannot make a few phone calls or write some letters on my behalf - Or, anyway, they WON'T - and suggest this super-insne " go take a GED course ' route, when GEDs are not designed for people who want a 2nd try at HD, they are for people who dropped out of HS, and that does't apply to me! However, people who don't't have the disastrous, emotionally scarring past that I have with records people and have more and better phones and computers to communicate with won't try to help me . Okay.

...Ezra, I am. however, unsure what you feel I shod do with those numbers, etc. Are you saying that if I call them, they will give me my records-etc.? Really? For sure? As I menti5, someone else recently said they'd get me anaddress to which I could write and I would get back the records-etc. However, this person has lagged on getting back to me and following that up .
It is the weekend and I cannot at this time follow up on those phone numbers anyway. I do not give my real name here - You have given what I assume is your real last initial here in the past.

Heres what I would do: Get your GED. Just tell them you never finished High School. What will they do, LOOK UP YOUR RECORDS and know you are lying? Preparation for it, if you need it, will get you into the swing of all that reading and studying anyway. Then simply apply to college with the GED. Its so simple its perfect.

Don't't you realize, by the way, that I might be, by practicing this deception, taking away a spit in a GED class from someone who needs -and wants- a HS diploma, as S-he never got one the first time around? And why am I supposed to deny my past, like someone who hides his identity in the Witness Protection Program? My past is what I've got - I.should wipe some of it away? I don't't think a GED class would be happy at all if they found out I'd lied to them - and my particular combination of first-middle-last name is fairly distinctive, I have thought that there may be no one else in North America, if not the world, with my particular combination. And should I lie about my age, too ? Come ON!! !! ! And I'd have to give my SS number to go - I'm sure that would lead them to my school past. Or do I make like some illegal immigrants and steal someone else's SS number? Come f*****g ON!! !! ! That's absurd. Millions of people take this test, you wouldn't be taking anything from anyone, esp because for whatever reason you effectively don't have a HS diploma!

I think you just don't want the inconvience and hassle of actually taking this test.

Also from what you say of your past, why wouldn't you want to wipe that away? And how would the GED people discover your past? They are low paid state workers, I promise you they don't care one way or another.

And if the steps of getting your old records are so simple, why cant you do it yourself? Why ask autistic people you don't even properly know to get them? That's NUTS.

" argument.because you, in fact, have this superstitious fear of trying to straighten out old records - And you Havent even -I assume- experienced what I've experienced with record-keepers!! !! !! !! ! All these people would have to do to find out my HS past is enter my SS number. If you think that a fake GED is so great, why don't't you do it your own freaking self? Sheesh .
I have a GS diploma already. I just want back up of what I already have. And I took the HS texts already, once is enough for me.

Well hey, this is an option, and probably the only one that might work for you. Nobody here is going to track down your old records. The last time you asked for that, from what I saw, it turned into one giant mess of a thread that was eventually locked, and nobody, not even the people who like and care about you, did this for you.

The way getting a GED works is, you get a booklet with practice tests and answers in it. You take the practice tests at home and then check the answer sheet to see how well you did. If you did well enough, then you go take like an hour test where you just mark abcd questions. The test is just to see if someone has a high school equivalency of knowledge. It's not any harder and probably less hard than tests one has to take as a college student, especially finals.

Basically if someone can't pass a GED test, they would just end up flunking out of college anyways.
