...U don't't feel that I " talked smack" to KK in my 5:33 post, or even to RU - And, the last two paragraphs of said post were expressing my annoyance at him. However, I did not say " You're a... " or curse. No " smack ".
I will say a brief thing now, more later. I will not be be creating a false background for myself where I did not graduate from HS and then take a GED course.under that identity. Period.

Perhaps I should have said " did't read ", that might have bee more the point, maybe I meant " can't " as in " can't find the passage.find my style inpenetratable "? I certainly was not meaning to state that you were illiterate. Obviously, you are not! 
Taking a lie-based GED course is simply not something I am going to do! Period. Ezra realizes that the only people eligible for GED classes are people who did not graduate high school. I graduated from HS. I am not eligible. Period. I believe that, counter to RU's assertation that GED people do not check their students' background, that a lying background story on my part to GED people to take a GED classs would be discovered.
At worst, trying to get charitable, if you will, benefits under a false story might even be a low.level crime-offense, like saying you're a veteran to get veteran's benefits when you areb't. I have a teeny-weeny " from being HL-growing out if it " rap sheet already ! I am not going to pursue it. It is, simply, neither a good or an attainable idea. Period.

I'm not asking that this thread be locked...but I think that people should simply walk away from it, and any similar future threads.

?I believe a GED class would SAY that they are not for people to make second tries! They are for people who did not get a diploma the first time around! I would not be eligible. That is what the GED people would tell me!
But, you want me to forget about the relative simplicity of someone who is not as scarred by what has happened as I am making some phone calls-writing some letters in favor of a TV-movie fantasy - because no one must ever, ever, under any circumstances, try to untie knew'sexisting records.

If you're high school records are truly lost, then you should work on getting a GED. Official records, especially ones that existed prior to the practice of storing everything on computers, get lost all the time. My sister's birth certificate was misplaced by the state, so, now she doesn't have one. Being angry over your missing records accomplishes absolutely nothing.
And, before you start ranting about how you shouldn't have to get a GED, dude, if your records are lost, they're lost. There's squat you can do about it. The next best thing, if you really want to go to college, is to work on getting a GED, and, if you are unable to study for a GED, then I fail to see how you intend to handle college-level work (which is significantly more difficult than a GED).
The last time I checked, public institutions are not inclined to hand over personal records to people who are not the subject of said records (or, at least, their legal guardian).
It would be pretty scary if some rando off the street could call my old high school, and receive a copy of my transcripts. I really don't know what you expect anyone here to do.
Furthermore, if you absolutely can't handle dealing with people over the phone, then you're going to have a rough go of it trying to get into college since it usually requires interacting with many people both on the phone, and in person, in order to set-up your financial aid and course work.
