Am I the only one (ironically a teen myself) who cannot STAND being around teenagers. I am at college and they are everywhere. It is like a plague! I wish that I could be with adults who are really mature and WANT to do the work but I am stuck with a bunch of annoying complaining things which like making lots of noise (I hate noise) and doing everything they can to avoid working. The whole idea of going to college is WORKING!! ! I think it is about time that social life and academics is seperated...

An angry frustrated hypocrit...

Same here :D...though I'm now 20, so I'm not quite a teenager anymore...

I look at them and think "typical, I can't see how they do that and think it's new/clever". Sometimes I feel like an adult watching I child. Though as how this thread is shaping, it could be from somekind of difference with NTs.

They turned my college into a shoppoing mall.

Seriously they tore down a dorm and put in a slew of shops like starbucks and gamestop. Hows THAT making the school a better place to learn.

Ugh. Teenagers. Heck, even people in their early twenties tend to annoy me.

I have this dream that one day, when I'm around ~30 everyone will make sense and will stop being such utter dipsticks. But alas for my castles in the sky...

sorry to burst your bubble... but the age disparity is always gonna be there..... you are more than likely never going to get along with most NT's in the 2 year range around your own age. gown about 3 years up and 3 years down and that is the age range that will make sense.

in your teens... all they want to do is spend money... talk about boys (for girls) and rebel against the Parental units

in your twenties.. all they want to do is have sex.. and drink... and hang with friends.

in your thirties... all they are gonna want to do is sit around watching football and drinking beer... or talk about their kids.... or work themselves to death.

Do you have any idea how much of an incorrect stereotype and lie that is? The NT teenagers I know (and I know more than 250) are much more entertaining, talented, and fun to be around than the adults.

Very true.

I'm not big on stereotypes. I'm an NT teen, and I am introverted, studious, and I don't date or go to parties. I also get along very well with my "parental units," or "parents" for us non-robots.

I tend not to like a lot of people my age (and younger), unless they are of the 'rational' variety (that's not very many, and the ones who are rational are the only ones who scarcely talk to me in the first place).

What I mean by 'rational' is that they don't b***h just for the sake of bitching (especially online, myspace and facebook has a flowing field of bitching), they don't talk about people behind their backs (part of the bitching process), and especially...and I am going to emphasize that a lot:

The fact that they complain about their weight when they're obviously a stick, and calling people who wears anything over a size 6 fat. That kind of pisses me off. Don't people know what the average size woman is? (It's a 14, by the way).

But enough about defending my curves. At least teenagers aren't as bad as children, especially if the parents don't do their job in saying no to the child and giving in all the f*****g time.

...and have anyone noticed that teenagers seem so depressed all the time, even when they have everything? >_<

I don't hate anyone per se, but I am annoyed by people in their 20s and 30s that still believe in the teenage cliques.

I'm actually moving out of my current dorm house because I'm tired of living around immature freshmen. But age doesn't always have a lot to do with it. Some people will simply be immature their whole lives. Sad really.

Half the teenage population, aspie OR NT, doesn't seem to deign to touch a dictionary, unless it's Spellcheck!

Oh my, I'm a teenager and nothing irks me more than to see people type things like "Your the best!" or "i gt 2 du mai hmrk". There are few things I hate more than that.

Teenagers baffle me. I'm talking more about teenagers aged 13-16 (the most immature ages). They arse about in the street, go trick-or-treating, scream and shriek in public, spit, push eachother about in shopping trolleys in the street, walk along on low walls, sit on the floor in the street, give eachother piggy backs, gob at teachers, say immature sexual things, thinks burps and farts are really hilarious, jump around on bouncy-castles just for the fun of it, play on the swings and roundabout in the park....and yet they laugh at you and call you a big kid if you say you like drawing cartoon pictures. (Especially girls). And drawing cartoons ain't even childish. What they like doing is very childish.

Teenagers - can't make them out!

Me and my mum call NT teenagers ''oiks'', but that doesn't apply to every NT teenager. My cousin is 16 and is NT, but he is someone who no-one would call an ''oik'', because he tries hard in school, gets good grades, hangs out with really nice boys, doesn't like gathering on street corners, respects other people (especially middle-aged and elderly), doesn't smoke or drink, never takes drugs, never vandalizes other people's property..... He's the type of NT teenager who doesn't do the childish things what some teenagers do. So he calls them ''oiks'' too.

People, calm down...What is a teenager?A teenager is someone that is between the age of 10+ to 19,that's what it theoretically means to be a teen.

It's not being a teenager that is annoying,it's mostly the attitude of the current society of youth that's distressing.

I don't mind them, hatting anyone else wouldn't do you any good but stress...

They do tend to annoy me,but I learnt how to blend and ignore them~~

I,for a fact, find it very ironically amusing those adults who feels like "young forever".

You guys need to take a better look at the society, what you've met up until now are labeled as stereotypes, don't judge stuffs too hastily...

Be patient,search others like you...

But yeah,at my school(high school),it's filled with rumors, backstabbing, trend talks and criticizing the teachers as of their personality aspect... They hate school yet they are rich, spoiled kids(most of them).Even if they aren't,the hard workers were probably forced by their parents and tend to back stab and...doesn't give a very good vibe.

Before by becoming an hypocrite,I try my best for not getting labeled as one though~But I still do it sometimes...It isn't something that could be avoided easily.

I pretty much hate all children of all ages. Of course there are rare ones that are interesting enough to keep around, but they are extremely rare. Even many early 20 year olds bug the hell out of me.

I hate annoying teenagers and kids. While the majority of people in my age group are easy to hate, not all of them are.

I have the mind of a teenager who's living in a time warp, so how could I hate teenagers?
