I didn't go to my prom because I didn't see the point of it. For one thing I'm a homosexual living in a rural town in Georgia, so it's not like I would have been able to bring a date to it, and I hated pretty much everyone at that school, so it's not like I'd be able to "socialize". I would rather sit home playing Oblivion all night then go to some flashy school event where I would have to pretend I was having a good time. :roll:

Ditto. Most of the people at my school seem to share this common ideology that I'm a freak and automatically hate me. I don't plan on going to the social event for this year, I'd have a lot more fun (and save money) sitting at home playing World of Warcraft.
