I was suspended (as many of you know etc.) and I just read an old friend is going to North Carolina. The ONLY Positive of no schooling right now is the cost (YA NO LOAN DEBT!) but the Psychological effect of no College is driving ME INSANE! (After reading about the friend I was holding back tears!) I'm in FL so was considering looking at Florida University's but last I checked it was 30+ thousand for a year (I want a dorm) and one college denied me saying I needed my AA (well that's 3000 towards a Community College!! !!) I only get $322 SSI!! ! SHEESH! and going off of parent income etc. (For Aid) I don't meet the criteria!! !! ! (Plus economy government issues about money etc.) Any tips???

Don't fret about not going to school...it's that time of year when everyone gets caught up in all the excitement of "back to school." Once school actually starts and students get settled into their routines, most students wish that they were not back in school.

Find an activity that you can do, that doesn't cost a lot of money and that will occupy your mind as a diversion away from all the hype of "back to school" right now. It is important NOT to compare yourself with others, like your friend. Everyone's life is different and what may be good for your friend may not truly be right for you.
