hey I'm Jess!
this coming monday I begin my highers at langside college in glasgow..
I barely got through my standard grade exams due to a lot of problems and missed classes and feel I needed this new environment...
last week was my registration where I got a first gimpse at my english class...most seemed as uneasy to talk but I'm still worried...
is college easier to find friends at or the same old same old?
I feel like I'm heaping everything on this as I've expected the worst most of my high school life..

Good luck with you classes! College can be a real mess, but if you keep things under control then it can be a lot better than high school or elementary. Myself, when I first went to college it was hell. Then I moved from the dorm next to the stadium (it was full of sports nuts and sorority kids, of course) to the dorm next to the art school and anthropology building I went from the social outcast to the social butterfly. As long as you live in the right place and start getting past the general courses you'll meet lots of people who you'll really get along with.
