Would this type of thing be helpful to others?
To make a long post slightly shorter:
I am considering setting up a review site for schools/programs such as Perkins, Spurwink, TLC, and such others. I want to know if people think this would be a useful resource for both parents and kids.
The site would be based on college review sites were students can grade aspects of the college. Only this would be student and parents grading parts of the programs.
There seems to be a lack of such sites. I want to help parents make a more informed decision before sending their children off to such places.
I only have experience with Dr. Franklin Perkins. I was there for two years. The only information my folks had was what the school said. They, in all truth, lied about a bunch of stuff.
I want people to be more informed about what the kids really think. Perkins is run in a way like a jail/mental institution is some respects. Ask almost any "client" and you will get a back report from them. I had more insight then allot of the kids there, just because of some stuff that happened.
Infact, it does not just have to be residential/school programs. I think ANY program that will have a major impact in any way on a kid needs to be looked at from many views.
Thoughts?
p.s. why is the WP forums so damn slow?
