I'm finding it hard to stay caught up in school because everytime I start getting caught up, I get a dizzy spell and have to miss school. I'm tired of being sick, especially since I'm already not doing well in math. Anybody else with a similar issue?

I think I know how that feels. It seems I can't go two weeks without something strange happening to my health. The best advice I have to give is to talk to your teachers and explain to them, as best as you can, about what is going on. Sometimes that's hard, particularly when you don't know WHAT is going on! Some of them will probably be jerks, but for the most part, teachers are people too and they will understand. They may offer you extra time or something to complete assignments. And if not, at least they will know why you are acting a certain way, and they won't think you are lazy or apathetic. Good luck!

I'm luckily not very behind right now, even with missing a lot of school, but my condition's getting worse, and I don't know how long I can stay caught up.

I have a lot of medical issues, as well. I always get sick, but because of my motivation to do well in school, I always ignore that and just go. Thought it is a bad thing, but I hate being behind in school. I always have to either be head or caught up(rather be ahead). Now at my school, we are dealing with Swine Flu(I go to community college), and the teachers are practically begging us to stay home if we cough, have a fever and/or feel sick. I know how you feel about hating being behind. I would maybe talk to your teachers and your doctor to see what you can do so that you will not be behind. At my school, we have all of our assignments and other things online, so if we do get behind, we can just look at what we need. We even have this Power Point thing, where the teacher will put the notes and things they cover in class on the website, so that if we miss a lesson, it will be online for us.

Know how you feel, i have seizures and some other things and it's hard, but it's worth it. It may not seem like it at the time, but it is,
Hugs,

Well, my fractured left leg is interfering with progress at college! But it must be pretty awful when you get sick often while you are trying to progress at school. :(

Update!
My doctor thinks that one of the medication I was on was causing the symptoms, and since I've been off it, I've been getting a lot less symptoms! I don't have much concentration anymore though, the medication I was on helped with that (and sleeping, and my mood.)
