Are teachers robots to you?

Lesson plans are stupid! Teachers really don't need them, in my opinion because they can act like themselves right? They need to share how they really feel about things, instead of what the book says about it. Students would be a lot happier!! !

Lesson plans are probably good as tools, but I agree with you, too many teachers are robots as you describe. The good ones who actually take their role in their students lives seriously are far in between.

I have had a few who actually read the lesson plan out loud and read the teacher's manual that comes with textbooks. to me, that kinda sounds flat and not much of teaching just reading and the teacher is paid to read when they should already know and teach with minimal help from the teacher's edition book. Its not the best way to teach because some teachers slip up and read the answers without knowing it. with this way i kinda wonder how did they score in college and the degrees they earned or even if they care at all to teach? I mean anyone can read a book and learn. the best teachers I had didn't read from lesson plan books or the teacher's edition of a textbook in front of the students. I guess some teachers do it to get ideas about what to say to enforce the published word.

They pretend to teach, but as long as you pretend to learn, everyone's happy.
