I need help organizing but no one will bother giving it to me because they have failed in the past. In the past they have tried to help me organize by not giving me any choice in the matter, making me throw out stuff that I want to keep because they consider it useless, yelling at me, telling me I know nothing and humiliating me. They basically tried this ranging from once a month to every week since maybe the second grade. They gave up on me last year. I'm using they to refer to my parents and various teachers and special education people. I've tried to explain that they are doing it all wrong but they will tell me it's all my fault. My dad even said that there is no other way of doing it because that is the only way it works. It has never worked and they haven't even tried another method. :-/ So, I guess I need to figure it out myself but I keep trying and nothing works. Any ideas?

How old are you? In some ways your response to trying to get organized is dependent upon your age.

What exactly is it that you need help organizing, and what are the wrong/right ways? This could be so many different things, it would be great if you could elaborate a bit.
