First of all, answer all those questions please:
How can somebody know he's more a Detail/General thinker?
What do you think you are?
And are you more practical or into concepts?
Are you good at reading comprehension, compared with your other class mates?

Now about me:
I understand the theory, I understand how it work, but I fail at doing it.
Like in Math's today: Last week I had the best grade for math, I think the subject was Calculus (in english?), you only need to understand it and you could to everything with ease. No long algebra arithmetic work. But today I had 5/10 for another English test, but this one was arithmetic algebra: "55/32(53/52)(21*23)^3/3[x5] etc (only example), but every mathematics test with that kind of stuff, downgrades my grade. 5/10 was even good for me for that kind of maths, I really have a big problem with this.
I don't have Dyscalculia: I could do 20+100, 20+30, 2*10, at a very young age.
Things I'm good at are: Seeing links or associations, reading comprehension and languages to exclude other reasons.

I'm much better with concepts than basic arithmetic.
I'm good at general and detail thinking, but that is due to practiced development of the abilities.
I've always had wonderful reading comprehension, far beyond my grade level.
I love pure theoretical work, and prefer it over simply crunching numbers.

I love calculators for this purpose, and can do it fine, though part of it is how I conceive of numbers in my head being incompatible with arabic numerals as they're far too arbitrary.

I can deal with variables or constants much easier, that and my womans dyslexia/dyscalc issues led me to produce these numerals for her and I.

How do they look to you?
