I'm returning to school on the 14th, and am very much looking forward to it. Summer vacation has been dull, lonely, and boring, and at school I'll be able to make new friends, chat wwith my fellow likeminded students, and refresh my knowledge of everything I need to know, since my memory seems to have become rather slippery over the break.
So when are you going back? And are you looking forward to it or dreading it?

I'm returning to school on September 6th, and sports start on August 22nd (I'm doing crosscountry). I think that band camp is on the 25th of August, and I'll have to attend to that as well. Anyways, I'm actually looking forward to it, but I know it's going to be busy since I need some scholarship money and what not (I've been applying for scholarships this summer and before, but I need some more.) I've got the Achiever's Scholarship, which is awesome. Then I'm going to be applying for FAFSA and my top college choices. Senior year of highschool = busy.

I go back on the fourteenth too. I'm not looking forward to it too much, partly because the only friend I've made over the last year goes to a high school in another part of the state I'm in and I'll pretty much only see her at Latin conventions but mostly because I am still not finished with my summer homework and I really want to hand it in on time and get it done!! I also need to study for my PSATs (I want that Scholar of Merit title) and I've gotten pretty slippery over break.

Junior year is also looking like it's shaping up to be a busy year.

Oh yeah! I am not going back, I am GOING FORWARD!! On the 16th I am heading off to my first year at college. It will be so nice...except for schoolwork... well... at the very least I will have better internet and access to a bigger library.

I'm going back to school on August 15th. It'll be a new school for me since my mom and I just moved into this district about a month ago. So far everyone I've met has been really nice (the other neighborhood kids and the other junior leaders in this township's 4-H). This will be my third high school not including being homeschooled. Hopefully I'll like THIS one. At least it's my last year of high school.

I go back on the 11th September, we're moving to a new site so we had 10 weeks summer holiday. I am looking forward to Year 10 a lot! Those idiots who disturbed and distracted me in numerous classes have been moved out of most of my classes, now that everybody is doing their options for GCSE.
I will still be with my like-minded friends, who are great friends to me who meet at breaktimes. Also, a boy is moving into my class who I think is smart, I might be able to make a new friend.
I also look forward to more opportunities for school trips, and also the fact that some of my old subjects, like Art and Italian (I was good at it but I preferred French which I am better at) are being dropped. And I am doing Engineering, which should be a good start for me.
Overall, seeing new teachers and starting a new school year peacefully will be a good time.

In America the summer starts earlier because the Easter Holidays and the half-terms aren't as long as they are in the UK.

If you went back on July 31st, then when did you break for your summer?

May 24. Florida goes earlier than the rest of the nation.

I just started my first week back this past week. If that confuses you, school started August 21.

Well, I'm in the southern hemisphere, so school's been on since March. Only a few months to go for summer...

When I win the 6/49. Than I can take the courses that I've wanted to take all along, instead of being shoved into a Special Needs Work Experience course that's much too easy for me.
