With every teacher I set up for Fall I emailed each teacher Biology,Speech, and Health&Wellness. to get some feedback on whether there is a research paper or not. I asked a friend if she emailed her teachers she said she never has. I haven't even started courses and yet I emailed my teachers before I even met them face to face. Is this odd or strange to you or do you think it'd be odd for the teachers? All were nice and gave me a response and said have a nice summer so it seemed ok. What are your thoughts?

There's nothing wrong with that at all. In fact, I'm sure they appreciate your enthusiasm and desire to be prepared. :)

My Biology teacher for next year assigned an introduction letter, which was due July 1st. I sent it June 16th..
I'm sure your teachers appreciated your voluntary correspondence and enthusiasm.

It's unusual but not unheard of, and teachers generally like when students reach out to them about academics.

Agreed. This seems like a reasonable inquiry.

I can safely say it's not odd.
My school started getting everything ready for telling next year's teacher about my AS in May. I don't get the teachers till the end of August

It is proactive. It's running ahead of the curve. And usually a teacher will respond in a gracious manner, occasionally not. And when he or she doesn't, just graciously back off yourself.
