I need your help ! :(
My psychanalyst doesn't agree with me about AS. He sticks to his "infantile psychotic dysharmony", which is a french invention not approved by the World Health Organisation...
I don't know what to do. I wanted to tell my teachers clearly I got a diagnosis which allows me to stay next to the door, leave the class when it goes bad...
But how will I do if I don't have the diagnosis ? I won't explain to each one that I'm too anxious. I'm afraid that they don't take it seriously... And I have to go to the university tomorrow.
What could I do ?

If you're in university, are you not free to pick where you sit? Just arrive early for class and bags your seat.

Ya ....you should just go to class and sit near the door..........and you can leave if you need to. You have the right to leave at any time and do not need any special accommodation to do so. If you want you can talk to your professor and just tell him/her that you get very anxious sometimes in social situations and that you may need to leave the room. You DON’T need a diagnosis to validate this…you can just tell him. Tell him that you just wanted him to know about this so that he doesn't think you are being rude if you leave in the middle of a lecture

good luck =)

Thank you ! Actually most of students in my university must stay in class and are penalized if they leave. But I've learnt there is another special way, if you work or if you have a disease - you have to justify your problem n order to obtain it. I think I'll just go see their doctors and tell them I went to a psychiatric hospital... Then it'll be fine. Thank you again ! It's nice to have some people whom I can talk about these specific problems. (And sorry for my english :s)
