Is it possible to be moved school at the age of 16?
I know its pretty late but my school is UNBEARABLE!
So much bullying and the teachers have no idea how to handle a girl with disabilities...
My mum and i already talked to everyone we could think of about the school and how to make it better for me
but all the school has given me is Broken promises... :(

Anyway my point was that i have Aspergers, Dyspraxia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and Tourettes.
Which has made my life hell and so the bullying really hasnt helped either.
So i really wanna move to a Special school where they can meet my needs.

Do you think this is possible?

Happy Holidays, Jodi

Happy holidays!
Better find a school that your parents and you can agree upon and move you there. to do so, they'll have to apply. they'll have to advocate for you. Good luck, truly!

I mean there's plenty of schools out there. I happen to work in one myself. Your going depends on a few different things, though. I hope it works out!

Well I'm fourteen and doing my GCSE exams so I couldn't move, what year are you in? If you are doing any major exams like me then you can't move without your marks, options and other things being seriously effected. 16? Older than me, so I'd assume you're nearly at the end of school then? Last year? I don't know where you live but in England people usually leave secondary school at around that age. It IS possible I think, but only just.

I say, live it out... Don't get into trouble, just stay low-profile like I do and few people will notice you I guess... You have LOTS of disorders, I have Aspergers and I know a friend who has Dyspraxia and Social Anxiety and we have both survived, she making lots of friends and me making it to the good books of most people at least, and others I just stay clear of... Simply put, don't upset people and TRY to keep a low-profile...

Thanks for the lovely advice people :) i really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy days :D

And to answer your question: I am not in my last year as i have one year to go after this one.
I live in Scotland.

Ive tried to keep a low profile. there are not many who seem to stick out like me as i live in such a small town so i always seem to be the prime target .. :/ So low profile deosnt really work. But thanks for the advice

I was born in Scotland but never really "lived" there. I did as a baby in Gateshouse but I moved to a town in North-East England at a young age so I don't know much about Scottish education. I have one year left in my school (I'm in year 10, we have 11 here then its college or 6th form). I'm sorry to hear that keeping a low-profile won't work for you.
