What really irks me about collage life is how there are soooo many classes and I can't really keep track of one or the other. Like, i have web design class, as well as Flash animation, php coding, 2D animation ARGH!! ! Really, it's actually splitting me apart in many pieces! Is this normal that universities make you study all kinds of stuff and actually "filter" of what you really want to do?

It is horrible I gave up in my 4th year studying AI because of that.

I am just about getting my head around something and then am expected to go to another class and get my head around something else that is totally different :(

I did try separating each subject into colour coded folders and notebooks (some advice I was given because of my dyslexia) which I found helpful but as the subjects progress and the workload increases I have no idea how people cope with it. Life would be much easer if you could 6 weeks on one subject and then 6 weeks on the next... but it is easy to see why such a thing is impractical.
I would also be thankful for the regularity of the schedule at least I did know that on each day what I would be getting.

That said the best I can do is wish you to have patience and good luck :)

Well you can - just not in the system. Same way you can have a leisurely gourmet meal, candles, fine wine, good conversation, unobtrusive service - just not at MacDonalds.

There's no reason why you cant just take 1 course per semester. Of course that means you'll be in school forever.

If what's bothering you is that you're taking multiple courses that are similar in nature (computer stuff) then you can spread out the classes by taking 1 computer related class and 3 other classes (the general requirement courses) per semester. Once you run out of non-computer classes to take per semester you can see how many computer related classes you've left and see if you can take two at a time or if you'll need to do them one at a time.

The great thing of college is that it literally is at your own pace.
