Which would you say is more of an analyzer and better problem solver? I would say Biological chemist because so far I feel that a Biological chemist has to go through the same amount of math, and physics courses as an engineer but has to take more chemistry classes and more lab time then an engineer. So I would think since his analytical skills have more depth then an engineer who only has to take 1 chemistry class, with an optional second, but the same amount of math and physics classes. This is only through an AS degree.

A structural engineer would have a better understanding of structures and a Biological chemist would have a better understanding of Earth, plants, people, chemistry/people/everything.

So yes there are differences and more specialized and more of an expert in certain areas but I would think a Biological chemist would have analytical skills that surpass a Structural engineer or any engineer for that matter except a Chemical engineer or a Aerospace Engineer.

Which one interests you more? That is the most important thing.

Engineering is almost entirely math and physics based. You might want to think again about that.
