Has anybody ever done anything mean to a teacher?

When I was about five, I was in a Sunday School class with about two other kids. I noticed that the lady was wearing glasses, so I took her glasses and hid in the little playhouse. I don't think I meant any ill-will toward her, I was just being playful. I hid in the playhouse as she was kindly - but sternly - telling me to give her back her glasses. I don't remember what happened next, but I assume she got her glasses back eventually, one way or another.

Does teasing in a mean way counts?

Oh! And what about not keeping your mouth shut?

I don't think I did anything deliberately mean, but I told a professor two falls ago that she was insecure because we were on our third class evaluation. She wrote me up on the last day of class, claiming her superior made her do it. I knew she was a coward, and this just proved it. One more day and I'll be out of your hair, but nooooo.

I really hated Spanish class the first time I was forced to take it, so I refused to take my book home. I left it in that little basket thing under the desk. Then the teacher put me in the desk without a basket and I just left it in the floor. When she confronted me, I stonewalled her. When she forced the book in my hands, I kicked it down the halls.

That was probably meaner to the book than the teacher, but I bet she still remembers how much she hates me.

I once asked my German teacher "Wieviel wiegen Sie?" during class exercises. Another student told me to say it and I knew what it meant, but I said it anyway because I thought it would be funny. I'm not sure what he thought of that. This is a teacher I liked.

I saw another teacher slip on ice and I responded with an insane laugh. I went over to make sure she was OK, but in retrospect it wasn't nice. This is another teacher I liked.

I dunno, I guess I can't think of any other examples. But it's things like this that make me wonder if my life would have turned out even better if I'd had some of the awareness then that I have now.

When I was in grade 5, my teacher was really annoyed at the class and was standing near my desk and she said something like "I don't like it when you guys push my buttons!". I knew that "push my buttons" meant "purposely annoy me" in that case. However, I was a bit silly that day and she was wearing a buttoned-down shirt, so I pushed the buttons on her shirt.

When I hear a person's name, I see an "action" associated with it. When I was in grade 3, I associated a women wearing a black coat and a tie, falling over backwards with my teacher's name. On the second day of school, I said "(name of teacher) fell over backwards!" She gave me an annoyed look and I said "sorry".

I don't know how mean this would be considered, but last semester, my favourite teacher went on leave of absence (he still is on it) and got a sub. I really wanted my favourite teacher to be back, but I didn't know when he'd be back. I didn't actually have the teacher last semester, but I was supposed to have him this semester. Anyway, the teacher didn't start teaching until the third block. However, sometimes the sub for the teacher on leave of absence arrived before then. Sometimes, during block 2, I'd go out into the halls and see him, so I would know that my favourite teacher probably wasn't back. So, during block 2, I'd do my best to avoid seeing him, I wouldn't walk through the hall that he was frequently seen in for example. I'd even get other people to check the halls before I went out to make sure it was "safe", which meant that the sub wasn't in the hall. However, he never and still hasn't, found out about it.

I have also done some other things that I don't want to mention here.

Meanest thing? Probably when I sat down on the grass during a P.E lesson and sang 'Can't touch me' to the P.E teacher! I didn't like P.E so I spent every lesson finding new and inventive ways to avoid doing what I was supposed to!

I don't think you're teacher would have thought much of it. My German teacher never cared what we said as long as it was in German. And at least you used Sie instead of du, so I don't think that would have been received as disrespectful. Not to mention German culture might be a bit different. I'm not sure if asking how much someone weighs would be considered impolite as much as it is here in America.

But anyway, the worst thing I've done is probably just not care. In algebra 2 I would purposely not pay attention or do my homework simply to prove a point. The point is that it was stupid. I worked at my own pace and, guess what, I got a perfect grade on every test. I wanted her to be fully aware that the only reason why I did so well is because I didn't do things the way she wanted me to.

In preschool, other kids gave my teacher a chocolate bar as her birthday present. I was hungry, and I didn't like her, so when the children and a teacher were out somewhere, I took the chocolate from her desk and ate it.
Also when I was younger I used to steal stuff from my teachers' classrooms. Not because I didn't like them, but just for the sake of the habit.
