have.

That. SUCKS.

So...what would you recommend?

I'm thinking about going back to college for maths and english.

I don't really know what I'm asking.

Uneducated and I don't feel intelligent.

Help!

Believe it or not, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I was teased by my whole class and rejected by teachers for my awkward behaviors. I never got the proper elementary education I should have. I'm 22 now, high school graduate who passed just barely on a whim of things and unable to go to college.

You could try getting those math or english workbooks they have for kids at wal-mart. Someone had suggested that to me and it might be something fun that is good to stimulate your brain. I'm not really sure what you are looking at since I don't know where you feel your education level is at. I know mine sucked majorly and its made a huge impact on me having a job or going to college, aside from having extremely sever anxiety and stress issues.

Most community colleges have very low entrance requirements. Their courses are also rather inexpensive and they have graduated programs to get people with low entry scores get up to "college level" classes needed to earn a degree.

They also tend to have programs for people with learning disabilities.

I was a C-average kid in high school...mostly due to a hostile environment. I was on the Dean's and President's lists in community college...likewise in college where I graduated with honors. Environment makes a big difference in your ability to learn.
