I'm in an English class that is supposed to be the hardest in the school. And I got in and assumed that it would be fairly difficult and make me do some work. So far, I have 3 zeros, including one assignment that I didn't feel like doing because it was creatively stifling. She has given me two other, equally stifling essay/question grades, one of which is due Thursday. I'm getting irritated here. This class is frustratingly boring, slow, and easy. The teacher asked us what segregation was today! What exactly should I do?

Well, the only thing to do right now is buckle down, and study as hard as you possibly can. Not to be hard on you, but you've already done some damage to your grade, so use the time you have left to bring it back up at least somewhat. And what was it about the one assignment you didn't feel like doing? School is not about choosing what to do. What you should have done is complete it, regardless of how you felt about it; that's the harsh reality of school.

No, my grade is an 87 half way through the year. It will be up again naturally in no time. I'm not worrying about my grade, it's fine. I'm worrying about what will happen when I get bored creatively and start to create my own work. Half the time that ends in me getting in huge trouble.

I understand how you feel.

I hope things improve with you soon.

It's not necessarily my problem at the moment because this has been the story of the last 14 years of my life. I'm always intellectually bored, and at some point or another, I learned how to deal with it in a shockingly efficient and fast manner. This is going to become her problem very quickly, because my manner of intellectual stimuli will more often than not result in massive class disruptions and trips to the principals office. She needs to find me something enjoyable to do FAST, or this could get ugly.

I had trouble with that too subtai. I just daydreamed, I guess. I once left a computer class, cuz they had us making ASCII pictures. Since the other lazy NT students didn't want to do work that day. I said something along the lines of, "Why should I sit here and do something, which I could hired a trained monkey to do for me?". So I guess you'll just have to get through it. Sometimes what helped me is, taking out a notebook and doodling.

I had the same problem, Subatai, only the exact opposite. I found that, after the 8th grade, every English class I had was too hard, because they expected me to be creative when I had no creativity in me. Eventually, though, I caught on and realized that I just had to regurgitate the BS that the teacher spewed at us and I would get a good grade. I hated doing it, but I did it anyway.

I have taken the liberty of writing your paper for you.
