Does anyone else take online courses? I took them from the middle of 5th grade to the middle of 9th grade, when I started going to a public school. I went to that worthless school for half a year and for the first few weeks of the next year, before I started doing online school again. I have decided that online work is the best option for me, since it allows me to focus on my work without having to deal with America's failing public school system, America's failing public school teachers, and America's failing public school students. Although, as always, my ADHD does admittedly get in the way of accomplishing work.

Does anyone else have any experiences with online school?

I did an online course once, partly out of interest, partly because I was bored and partly because I wanted to get back into academia in some way. There were good and bad sides to it. I liked how I was able to work around my schedule, and could basically study whenever I wanted. I didn't have to turn up to a certain place at a certain time, for a certain amount of time and I liked that.

I did find it a bit isolating, and also I had to have good time management because no-one was going to prod me and tell me that <x> assignment was due.

Tried it thrice with a university that's actually 15 minutes away from my house but that I was too much of an agoraphobe at the time to actually take classes at in person.

All the bureaucratic online form-submitting system crap just was too much for me. Quit all of them within a week or two. Luckily no money was paid for them.

I took an online trigonometry class... 89% screw you online courses.

I'm thinking of taking one, something flying-related. But of course, I'll also learn to fly FOR REAL.

I did K12 Virtual for 1 year, I failed, everything. It was not the best thing. Now I do Penn Foster, that is way better for me.
