I need more information before I can answer.

English comp may be your best way to communicate and once you succeed in making good grades, you can start talking to the teachers outside class and even in class. Let others see that you analyze the topic on a whole new/rational level.

If you are talking about English Comp and not Computer Applications or Workman's Comp, I can say that for me the classes were freaking easy but, admittedly, it may have been due to my teacher possibly being subpar because she was only high school teacher who was teaching the college-credit English Comp sequence, not an actual college professor or instructor.

It's two classes, one focusing more on writing essays and short stories and the other focusing more on poetry and drama. If your teacher places heavy emphasis in her grading system on making note cards and ensuring that sources are fully documented, you should do fine, even if you are just good at that and not actual writing.

However, there's no reason at all to not proofread your papers, so that you avoid making mistakes that will be a major source of lower grades in any English class. If you are lucky enough to have teachers in your family, you could have them proofread your writing.
