Only going into nursing if you really, really want to do it (a.k.a. don't do it just for earning potential) Depending on where you are, getting a job isn't any easier than any other field - healthcare in general is experiencing major financial difficulties as well.
Nursing can be an extremely political and volatile field as well, certain parts of it can be difficult for those on the spectrum. In general, it has a high burnout rate due to the workload/interpersonal relations. If I was going into nursing, I would look at either surgical or research nursing. But that's me.
If you have the opportunity to attend St. John's, do it - I would have thought about it if I had the money/G.P.A.
