My friends are all interning, but since I didn't take a class one semester, I can't pass to do the internship. Should I take an alternate internship? A one that they won't count my grades, but one that I can gain experience from?

I would strongly advise it. Any experience looks great in a CV.

There is no option for "Both", "Neither", or "Other".

Hands-on experience may tell you the "What" of a job (i.e., "Assemblers"); Book-learning can give you the "Why" (i.e., "Technicians"); but only those who have both education and experience can tell you the "What, Why, When, and Where" of a job (i.e., "Engineers").

Thanks. I'm just angry and spend more time from home as much as possible! :(

I would highly recommend trying to get one. I don't know about your field, but in mine (engineering), pretty much if you don't get an internship while you're in school you won't be able to get a job when you graduate. This is because most companies place about 90% of their focus on your work experience and 10% on your educational experience/GPA. Kind of screwy in my opinion but that's how it goes!
