I've been on a restricted diet for a very long time. However, my teachers don't think my restricted diet is healthy. I used to weigh 235 pounds as you may or may not have known. I don't want to gain back to that weight(I weigh 210-215 now). Those teachers want me to eat wretched high calorie meals. It's like they want me to weigh 235 pounds and lose my 41 inch waist! The way I eat works for me. I recently started eating food I cut out of my diet just to make them shut up about it! Tomorrow I'm going back to my restricted diet and I don't know what to do! I'll have to tell them I'm going back on it and they'll give me such grief about it!
One of the teachers says she has a fashion addiction and is soooooo ladylike! For her information, eating chocolate and not caring about what you eat and staying the same size is FAR from ladylike and being a fashionista!

Your profile says you are 18, so I think you should' point that out to your teachers and tell them that what you eat is none of their business.

Your menu is your business. As long as you are not starving yourself, or turning yourself into a blimp, no one has any business criticising what you are eating. You didn't mention your gender, height, or body type. For a tall male, with a muscular frame, your current weight may be a little high, but not too bad. For a female, your current weight is too high, but either way, you do mention that you have been restricting what you eat. I assume that's to bring your weight down to a healthier level--good for you! Dieting is hard. I am absolutely flabbergasted that any adult teacher would think someone whose overweight should put on more weight. Tell them you are a legal adult and they don't get a vote on what goes in your mouth, and that they are not to bother you about it any more.
Now, go enjoy your own food choices!

I'm curious as to what your restricted diet consists of. I don't see a reason why anyone would suggest you eat unhealthy if you're trying to lose weight.
However, the wrong kind of diet can be deadlier than being overweight. To put in perspective for you: Being obese is very likely to kill you through heart problems.. in about 20 years or so. Not eating enough potassium in your diet can kill you from heart failure/damage in less than 1 year...and there are no symptoms or warning signs until its really too late.
Just be sure to consult your dr or a dietitician about your diet and all will be good. If the teachers dont like it.. then it sucks to be them. You're 18 its YOUR choice now. Aint it grand?
