I failed both of my classes this quarter. Everything started out alright, and I managed to keep up with the classwork, but as the quarter edged on I lost control of getting my work done on time. I have a hard time in math, and the class that I took is an easy one but is also a go at your own pace sort of deal. I'm really frustrated things didn't go my way. I should have taken one class instead of two and a workshop for the first time. It was just too much for me to handle. I plan on retaking the math class this summer, and the art class this fall.

Does anyone have any words of advice on how to get through school? Study skills? Dealing with being an awkward girl in a strange social college land?

Does your school have a Disability Support Office?

They should be able to help you.

Yes they do. I am in contact with them and they have my paperwork. I get some services, but until I can get a more recent diagnosis, the options they can provide for me are limited. Awesomely, I do get priority registration, and the ability to take tests somewhere quiet if I need to. They also have a math tutor that I didn't use this quarter, regretfully, and will be much much more inclined to use next time around.
