I mean when you finally get to the classes you're there for in the first place? In my case I'm going for a computer Associates and hope I'm finally almost done with English and Math. Just have to finish this last week of this quarter.

Guess this crazy long essay is wearing me down and just trying to keep motivated. I'm just hoping that I'll have a much stronger aptitude for the computer stuff. :P

My cousin used to have a saying about college: "Don't worry, it just gets harder."

Really, it matters on the major you take--some are harder than others-- and how interested you are in it--some hard classes may be easy for you or a pleasure to take.

It probably won't be objectively easier, but if you are interested and good with computers, then going from a boring required class to something you like could be easier for you.

Typically it gets harder after the prerequisites...a lot harder lol. That said it also gets much more interesting.

The english part gets easier because it's done or you only have a tech writing class left. The math classes get harder as you progress. The contents of the computer classes will get harder because they build on the contents of earlier math and computer classes.

inspite of what some people may say, generally i think glasses get harder after the core courses. make sure you in a major that interests you because if your interested in it and have some knowledge already, that will counter the difficulty a lot!

This.

My comp and lit classes involved lots of reading a writing on subjects I did not necessarily care about... Sometimes it was pretty tedious.

When I took my first International Relations class (a major requirement for me) it involved lots of reading and writing--but this time it was mostly on subjects I picked and was a lot of fun.

School should not get easier but it should become more fun if you are in a major you enjoy.

Thanks for the feedback. I posted this originally while finishing summer classes. Glad to say I got an A in English Comp 2 and an A- in Intermediate Algebra.

I do think I have a good aptitude for computers so I'm looking forward to that. Also, I don't know if I'll have to write more term papers or get bogged down in research. Researching for essay topics is enormously time consuming for me.

In the meantime on break I hope to play with Ubuntu some more on an old laptop my mom gave me.

I am in my second year of IT classes, I think some of them have been harder for me, like programming is a pain, but since my interest level has also increased its not as hard for me to DO the work.
