I have been studying and preparing myself for SATs since the beginning of the summer. I have done some practice reading sections for the last couple of nights and have been getting 9 to 14 questions right each one. My family keep on telling me that I'm going to do good, which I believe I will, but I'm still a bit nervous. Does anyone know anything I should do to calm myself down a little?

Well know you will do well on the SAT. I took it back in high school with a super bad hang over and did not study a lick. I made real high. Its mostly fifth grade stuff. Now the trick on that one is is you dont know the answer guess before the time is up. Now the ACT works just the opposite..if you dont know on that one leave it blank. As concerns relaxing and assuming maybe you dont hold with consumption of the Devil's Jurine or other recreational meds..lol..try this. Sit comfortably with feet on the floor or you can lay down if you want. Close eys and take three or four slow deep breaths inhaling though the nose and out the mouth. Imagine in your mind you are in a very pleasant place of your choosing..beach..mountains etc. Start relaxing each muscle in your body from the top of your head to your toes. Spend time on each muscle. Longer it takes the more relaxed you be. Simple huh? Check your heart rate before and after. The difference can surprise folks. Have prayed for you on the test. You will do fine.

Since you have studied and prepared, you've really done all that you can do.

Now comes the part where you RELAX. There's really nothing else to do. Listen to some of your favorite music, watch a movie, play games on the computer - the key is to relax. That and get a good night's sleep.

Tomorrow, listen to your MP3 player for as long as you can - then just take the test.

I know that sounds really simple, but it is really that simple - your biggest job now is to relax. :)
