Professors not posting homework and assignments

Does this bug anyone else if I want to get work done early like and get my probability homework started but can't. Also I am up to lecture on most of my other homework and hard to do homework problems on things the class has not covered in lecture yet. Anyone else have similar problems?

This could be because the homework and assignments are based on information that hasn't been covered in lectures at this stage of the course, so it probably wouldn't be a good idea to get it done early. You can read ahead, but you will get a better understanding of the material if you can ask the professor and tutors questions about it and discuss it in class.

That was the case but I am done with the homework assignment now.
