My local Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services works with individuals with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities, as well with the elderly to help them find gainful employment, as well help them apply for Medicare/Medicaid, etc., and I'm looking forward to having my case reopened so they can help me with my goals, and I can be independent.
I want to go to my local community college, and get an A.S. in Social Social Sciences, and then transfer to a 4-yr college and major in History. My local DARS office won't pay for remedial or developmental courses, but they'll pay for the main classes I need in order to transfer.
I'm looking into starting this coming Fall 2013 semester. I am so very happy.
