Apparently, I am going to take some time in my Community College due to the fact I switched my majors literally a couple of times and I despise my Community College to death. One, the academics are way too competitive. Two, the social atmosphere is boring. Three, the people who work at the academic accomodations office are extremely full of themselves. Four, my parents insisted on me to go to this school and I never even wanted to go and they forced me to enroll there under my will, too, which I found to be unfair and unjust. I suggested to go to a smaller college where I can possibly get more attention and they didn't listen to me. So what do you guys think about my situation?

To clarify; are you saying that you will be; taking some time off from your community college, or that you will be taking more time to complete a degree?

I think you should finish your year and transfer over to the new college for next semester. I would apply now (if possible) before quitting anything. Truth is, we are likely going to run into these social situations within our jobs/career. We can't always run away from the things we don't tlike or things that are hard. You just have to preservere. I can appreciate your resistance since you were enrolled into a program that doesn't fit your needs. At the end of the day, you need to be in an environment that meets your academic needs. Are you failing?

The thing is, it is not like I am struggling with classes. I am doing pretty decent. I am not flunking, or I am not doing 3.8 to 4.0 GPA's or anything. It is just that the school's atmosphere is really boring. Also, the people who work there are really full of themselves and arrogant. Also, there was a big corruption scandal where the new state funding, which was intended for more classes, was given to top administration salaries instead. Another thing is that the community college I go to claims to be the best in transfer rates, but, i think that title for my current community college is overrated.

But anywho, I will eventually change my schools by next Fall, hopefully speaking.
