Pawelk, as one who holds an American master of library science, I want to offer my congratulations.

I know there are Bachelor-level programs for library science here in the US, but they aren't common because the accepted degree here is master's-level. It is customary here to get an undergrad degree in something else, with English being the most common degree.

How does that work in Poland? What are you getting your master's in?

Congratulations! Getting a brick-and-mortar degree is wonderful news!

In Poland Bachelor is accepted for these who want work behind library desk, with readers or in cataloging ( i have some problem with understanding MARC21) , but if you want be something you must have master degree, I want continue my studding.

I newer work beside not paid practice in public library in my city.

Finding job is difficult if someone never worked and have AS, but i looking forward.
Now i looking for job, but unfortunately there is not job offers for librarians:(

Pawelk, I have no idea what the situation is in Poland, but I hope you will hang in there. I graduated in December and didn't find a job until May. Finding the first job is the hardest.
