I chose 'It's Living Hell; Let'm Burn' but that doesn't quite cover it...

It can be if you make it fun. For me, I enjoy learning so I mostly look at it in a positive light.

I voted "no" because I thought you meant college life. But if you just meant going to classes, then there's nothing I love better! :D I'm really only happy when I'm in inorganic chemistry with my favorite professor. I just love to learn, though, in general.

I voted simply "no" because on average, my school experience was by no means good, but still in the tolerable zone. High school, on the other hand, was pure hell; in other words, "It's Living Hell; Let'm Burn". If I had an unlimited supply of money, I would buy out my old high school from the district, tear it down, and build an autistic spectrum research facility in its place. Or simply turn it into an alternative high school for students with autistic spectrum conditions.

I've always had a lot of fun at school. For some reason nearly EVERYONE accepts everybody else for who they are (we had a dwarf girl in my old English class, and she was the most popular person there because of her personality). It must be something in the water down here...

True. Honestly, college/university is very overrated and doesn't mean you are ever going to have a good/stable job you like, or that you will ever make much money. This is the awful truth that guidance counselors/parents/teachers neglect to tell you. You will also forget nearly everything you learned and studied while in school, probably because most of it was BS to begin with and/or had no application in everyday life. While I am not yet done university, this is what people tell me. And when you do get a job, it will probably suck too. Oh well, such is life

The one thing you have to remember about the school/college system is that it is dominated by NT norms, expectations and requirements, which makes it harder for the average Aspie to succeed in the school system. For any aspie out there who is struggling, and also because I am struggling, please don't give up, even when the situation looks bad. We need to show the NT's that we can succeed in their world!!

+1
School is designed for "average" people. Average intelligence, learning style, etc who never deviate from the norm. University/college is often better because you have more freedom. More responsibility, but it is worth it to get the freedom in my opinion.
