I feel like such an idiot. I do check over things I know I don't know, and then i think I know it. I am doing ok with factoring, but I suck at charts and story problems. IDK, I feel like crying right now. In all honesty, if I could find work, I would like to take a little time off school and work for a bit, and maybe travel. IDK,, this math frustrates me. Luckily I only have one more round of it.

Does your school offer a tutoring service? Or you could talk to your teacher about extra help.

I have ask the teacher for help, but he said ask the tutor. I have been getting better grades on this one section (with the exception of one bad quiz, I have had three very good quizzes, so I am hoping that could at least life me 4 points above. Hopefully the next section isn't too bad. I think I will preview it . )

You could use algebra videos/sections in Khan Academy to help.

I was able to improve my math grade with a peer tutor. Does your school have those?
I find it particularly useful to immediately review after the class ends.
I haven't progressed as far as your algebra, but the same principle of reinforcement should apply.

In college it's not the instructor's job to individually teach you, so outside help is important if you're struggling.

Just take it easy and ask for help. Go for tutoring; a lot of the time they also have students as tutors, which feels like less pressure than a professor. The trick to learning math is to study and try at home. You aren't going to learn unless you're actually doing it on your own. My own personal experience, and exactly the reason why I did so poorly in high school. I never studied. That was the issue. I was always watching people solve them, but never trying on my own.

why stick yourself in school so you can be a slave working 8 hours a day 7 days a week 4 weeks a month 365 days a year 60 years of work... a slave... quit school it is worth it
