First, if you are already set up for classes at BCC, I would suggest taking the classes, getting an associates degree, and then transfer to a 4 year school. It will be quite a bit cheaper. I did the same thing. Started at Erie Community College and then transferred to Rochester Institute of Technology (both in New York).
One word of advice, when having issues with AS and the classroom, work with the teacher first rather than the disabilites office. The disabilities office is so understaffed that they really create more problems than solutions and in college, the instructors (or professors) are more likely to come up with workable solutions than the disability office (I have seen this in Real Life).
Also, try to find solutions to you own problems before asking assistance from others. Many people will be more apt to assist you if you are willing to assist yourself.
