health class on bullying and violence

hello today my health class we were talking about bullying and did some activities we had to either stand in the target, bullies, bystanders or allys. I felt it was pretty degrading but emotional. Have you done this topic in your health class? what did you do? how did you feel?

At my school, the leadership class takes anonymous letters written by bullying victims here at the school and reads them aloud in front of everyone. I think it might be necessary this year too, because I had to scare a bully away from a sophomore friend of mine.

I'm not sure what'll be effective enough.
