i was wondering if anyone else in the Uk has applied for dsa i have been assigned a laptop and specialist software to support my dypraxia eplipsy and autism .

Yes, I applied for DSA and was given a new laptop and a load of new-fangled software to go with it (including ClaroRead, which (as the name suggests) reads documents out in a synthesized voice), and a new printer and a scanner. Not a bad little package all in all. Did you get the special frame thingy that allows you to type while you're in bed? That's probably going to be the most useful thing of all, knowing my lazy habits...
