I live in the dorms at my university right now but I hate it, I plan on moving into an apartment for next semester. The place I'm moving into already has basic furniture and appliances; fridge, stove, washer/dryer, dishwasher, couch, coffee table, bed, dresser. I'm wondering what other things I need and/or will want to have in my apartment.

Im surprised no one has mentioned but you should really get a plunger you don't want to have to drive out to wal-mart at 4 in the morning to get one because you never had one in the first place and you just clogged the toilet

I would also suggest a microwave it the apartment doesn't have one.

A supply of cold medicines (you don't want to be without the first time you have a cold and need them)
Hangers for the closet
silverware organizer

Good Luck
