In January, we had a Science exam (I am in Year 10, equivalent to 9th grade) for GCSEs. It counted for 40% of one GCSE, which goes alongside my coursework and another exam at the end of the year. The provisional results came back in today.

My mark was:

Mark: 93%
Grade: A*

I am really pleased with this! I was one of 4 people in my year who got an A* in this exam. The A* is the best grade you can get. I got the second highest mark in the year!

Now I have to wait until I do the coursework and the other exam before I see my first complete GCSE result.

That's a really impressive grade! You should be extremely pleased with yourself!

Congratulations!

Science was always my lowest score on standardized tests.
