Ring back after a while
It has been a bumpy ride, but as of now (actually march), I made it through college and law school. I took some turns here and there, and it did take me a while, but I made my first state examination among the top 10% of of the four colleges that take this exam together here in Berlin (and the final results say that a whopping 42% failed). Took me quite a bit, but after seven written exams of five hours each over a span of 10 days, and an 8 hour oral exam, I finally got my diploma (the german JD equivalent), and two weeks ago, I started working on my PhD in law. I started working part time at a law firm that deals mainly with medical malpratice litigation, and if everything goes as planned, I will start my final two years of legal education as a legal clerk at the district court for liability for medical malpractice, aiming to become either a DA or a judge. This is by no means bragging, but if someone came to me a year ago and told me that I would be where I am know, I would have challenged their sanity ^^. I seriously don't know how or why everything suddenly turned around that way, but I am glad it did, as I am starting to finally feel some kind of closure and inner peace, because I can prove that I am a valuable human being. To make a long story long, I shall be around more often now ![]()
