I posted this information in the parenting forum too, but I thought it might be helpful here as well.

There is a College Readiness Guide at www.asd-dr.com that outlines academic skills, self-advocacy skills, life skills and even self confidence skills that teens/ adults need to be successful in college.

There is also a checklist with a range from 1 to 5 to help decide how prepared students are.

If you want to attend college - no matter what age you are - this is a great resource to figure out where to focus efforts. Autistic teens/adults often benefit from a step by step program to help learn new skills and having a plan can help it feel less overwhelming for everyone.

The guide is free - you just have to put in your email address.

I hope you find this information helpful.
