I feel like s**t, but I never go to class almost. One of my classes is 400/500 students large and I hate being by so many people and everyone talking, but also as interesting as the class is, I never seem to do well. One exam I went to maybe 3 classes for and got a 73%, the other I went to almost every single class and took great notes and got a 70%. The stuff just doesn't click. Then I get discouraged and don't go. It has ALWAYS been like that, throughout high school and middle school as well. I just can't make the stuff I'm being taught mean anything to mean (not like I don't care about the subject, both classes I'm taking now are interesting, and I understand what is being taught on an intellectual level, but I can't put 2 and 2 together about what I learn). I feel horrible since my mom is paying $18k for me to go to this school and the two classes I'm signed up for I almost never go to. I dread facing her about my grades when they come in. One of the classes I don't think I'm going to pass.

It might be the time to consider NOT being in college right now. I farted away for 5 years, without getting a degree, on my first go. When it became important to me, I found that I did much better.

I, too, made several false attempts for college. I didn't really buckle down until I was in my thirties. Even then, it took five years to get a two year degree. :o

I would have to agree with hartz and calandale. My grades were awful when I got my first bachelors. My motivation for being back in school is to be able to support my family when I am done. My bachelors gpa was 2.73 and my masters gpa is 3.93.

It was a lot easier to quit and drop out of classes when the education was just for me cause I was the only person being affected by it.
