As I write this post, I am back at my home in upstate New York - this time to stay (or at least until I get a job which requires me to move again.) I graduated from Castleton State College this afternoon. What will I do now that I am out of college?

I have a cousin who is a postal carrier, and thanks to his telling me that US government jobs are good-paying ones, I applied to take the Postal Service exam. For now, I will celebreate and then get a "filler" job (i.e., a job between now and when I take the exam - and hopefully pass it.)

What's your degree in? Do you realize
being a postal carrier is one of the most
stressful jobs. I wish you luck if you
get it though.

Sincerely,

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a concentration in Mass Media (not to mention a minor in Spanish.)

BTW, I don't know if the position of "rural carrier associate" is stressful, but thanks for the heads up anyway.

Congratulations on your graduation!

My newphew has been a mail sorter for years with the Postal Service. He loves it.
